Sr. Electrical Controls Engineer

To be one of the Electrical an d Controls Experts regarding equipment an d process issues, including （but not limited to） equipment downtime an d production of nonconforming product. 2. Capable of trouble shooting major downtime events by reviewing complex PLC programs an d electrical schematics. Understanding Siemens S7 PLC program, Siemens drives, Profibus an d Ethernet IP network is a must. Other PLC programs knowledge such as Allen-Bradley an d Schneider is optional 3. Identify, Implement an d Maintain opportunities for technical improvement with existing Process Engineers an d Technical Support Team members. 4. Project Management. Take responsibility for large-scale projects including design, supplier identification, fabrication, budget an d timing to insure a successful operation within the required scope of the project as it relates to Electrical an d Control aspects. 5. Continuous Improvement Driver: Improve profitability an d efficiencies of Manufacturing through implementation of process improvements affecting scrap, labor an d downtime. Support continuous improvement initiatives an d cost savings through application of Lean an d Six Sigma Manufacturing techniques such as 5S, SMED, TPM, Visual Factory an d Error-proofing. 6. Design an d manage new equipment process development, timing, budget, setup, debug an d training. 7. Work with Operations, Engineering, an d Quality departments to setup SPC files for new products/processes Ｏr executes changes to existing ones. Work with existing SCADA systems, as well as develop new ones Ｏr improve to ensure accurate process data is available at all levels of manufacturing. 8. Create Ｕpdate, an d maintain manufacturing an d trouble-shooting work instructions. Train maintenance an d operators on manufacturing processes. 9. Must be fluent in the English language to communicate in a global organization an d dealing abroad with OEM equipment suppliers in Europe an d the USA.
Requirements:· A 4-year technical degree （Electrical Engineering preferred） · Technical experience with Vision system integration, programming an d Maintenance. · Technical knowledge of Industrial Networking including but not limited to Ethernet, RS 232 /485, an d CANBUS protocols （i.e., Ethernet IP, PROFIBUS, etc,） · Competent PC Programming skills including but not limited to VB, VBA, C , an d JAVA · Experience with Database integrations including but not limited to SQL, SAP an d U8 · Experience Designing an d Integrating DCS an d SCADA systems for Real-Time Data access · Functional basic knowledge of Lean, Six-Sigma an d TPM doctrines
