Direct Report to USThe potential candidate would be a member of the CloudIQ development team based in Shanghai, China. CloudIQ is a SaaS application that non-disruptively provides comprehensive health scores for Dell EMC Storage systems through cloud-based proactive monitoring an d intelligent, predictive analytics. This team will be responsible for building Isilon an d ECS cluster features in CloudIQ for both internal an d external Dell EMC customers. Principal responsibilities: Leads the design an d architecture of high-quality, complex systems an d software/storage Prepares, reviews an d analyzes software specifications for complex products an d systems Leads the review an d analysis of design, functional, technical an d user documentationLeads the development, review, analysis an d implementation of test strategies for software/storage products an d systemsLeads the development, test an d integration of code for new Ｏr existing software of significant complexity involving multiple teamsLeads the review, analysis an d closed-loop corrective action for issues contributing to software defects an d business process problemsDesigns an d implements software lifecycle an d quality assurance methods for projects an d products Defines, measures, analyzes an d improves corporate an d departmental quality metrics Drives the implementation of Closed Loop Corrective Action systems for projects an d processes that span multiple departmentsLeads the deployment of projects an d products of significant size an d complexityProvides accurate resource, schedule an d cost sizing for software development an d deployment projects of medium complexity Qualifications / Requirements: Requires 12 years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor’s degree; Ｏr 8 years with a Master’s degree; Ｏr 5 years with a PhD; Ｏr equivalent Essential Knowledge/Skills: Expert in Java an d Python Experience working with Spring, Angular JS, Node.js, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, Redis, Pivotal Cloud Foundry an d Docker Advanced knowledge of network file systems and/or object storage systems Experience being a full stack developer Able to constructively coach less-senior engineers In-depth knowledge of multiple Software Lifecycle an d Quality Assurance methodologies Experience with, an d able to provide leadership in all phases of software development: feasibility, design, implementation, integration, test an d delivery In-depth knowledge of test strategies for a variety of different software products Ability to work in a fast paced agile environment Able to easily achieve mastery of new tools, languages an d operating systems Able to code an d effectively guide others to code flexible an d scalable programs that meet complex requirements Must be capable of adhering to project schedules an d effectively tracking progress to meet challenging deadlines Ability to effectively communicate an d achieve results in a geographically dispersed team Strong written, verbal an d presentation skills
