Job Descriptions
- Follow up orders with vendors, customers, an d internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction an d on-time delivery- Assist in the Product Development process to ensure that products meet customers’ quality an d budget requirements- Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development an d production- Arrange sample submission to customers for approval- Handle merchandising related documents- Draft sample instruction, check sample yarn an d dimension- Negotiate price & timeline, prepare cost sheet an d T&A- Co-operate with Design Team in product development an d provide information about yarn, accessories an d production situation- Ｕpdate market situation with Design Team- Manage of development an d orders, follow up production an d the delivery time frames- Price negotiation, sourcing suppliers to meet requirements an d advance cost effectiveness- Communicate an d prepare meeting with suppliers/buyers for customers- based on seasonal concepts an d theme to recommend fabrics collection to designers / customers- Manage the sourcing business of the based customer- Understand the customer needs an d requirements, develop an effective sourcing strategy- Ensure that shipping an d sampling shelves are stocked at all times- Distribute completed sample requests to the appropriate managers- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
1. Experience in hard goods2. Diploma Ｏr Above in Merchandising Ｏr related field3. Minimum 3 years relevant experience4. Strong product an d material knowledge with good development skills, an d familiar with merchandising an d product development process5. Able to work under pressure, result oriented, excellent communication skills, self-motivated, responsive an d detail minded6. Ability to build strong relationships with the team, communicate effectively with internal an d external parties7. Well organized individual, able to manage multiple tasks, strong problem solving skills, able to meet deadlines8. Excellent command of written an d spoken English, Mandarin9. Literate in Microsoft office programs10. Occasional travel is required
