Orica （Weihai –OEW） have two factories an d their related infrastructure on a green fields site in the village of Gushan, Weihai, Shandong Province. These facilities will include an Exel non-electric detonator plant of 14 million units capacity an d a Powergel explosive plant of 3000 tonnes capacity. OEW got the SGS ISO9001:2000 certification in 2006 . Eight years after OMS entry into China, OEW has developed its business with over 200 employees serving over 140 domestic customers in open cut mines, underground non-coal mines, quarries an d constructions.
