（纺织工程师/服装工艺师/服装IE工程师，大专以上学历，3-5年相关工作经验，会英语读写）Summary of Position: Position's primary responsibility is supporting Cut/Sew designs as part of new product development projects. Position will also be involved with product improvement efforts to achieve better customer experiences and/or reduce product cost and production Transition. Position will cooperate with other, project management, category, innovations, quality, suppliers, customer service, supply chain, regulatory & safety and sales as required to complete projects. 支持裁剪/缝纫设计作为新产品开发项目的一部分。该职位还将参与产品改进工作，以实现更好的客户体验和/或降低产品成本和生产过渡。根据完成项目的需要，职位将与其他人员，项目管理，类别，创新，质量，供应商，客户服务，供应链，法规和安全以及销售合作。Responsibilities:寻找各类针织原材料进行新产品、新工艺的开发和试制，保证新产品、新工艺的开发和试制，按时完成；并记录在生产中实施时出现的问题并及时处理，为后续改进提供依据；对不同工厂的样衣进行工艺品质审核，对能力不强的工厂给予技术指导，能独立修改纸样；熟悉服装面料的品种及性能，精通服装工艺，熟悉服装生产环节 · Be one part of the owner of assigned Cut/Sew projects from concept to end of life (EOL), including research, planning, design, development, test/verification and optimization/improvement.· Deliver designs measured by functionality, appearance, cost and time. Work with different functions to gain mutual support to achieve the final result by utilizing both financial & business acumen including: o Searching all kinds of fabric raw materials for new product, Support for new products and new processes development, ensuring the development and trial production of new products and new processes completing on time; o Create feasible test plans and Provide specific technical and quality control to the factory (such as sample test, production process, use of materials, etc.) and implement them on site to ensure production smooth; o Reviewed the process and qualification samples from different factories, gave technical guidance to factories, and independently modified technical pack; o Provide relevant professional advice and Suggestions for the design from Categories based on manufacturability. o Analyze and solve fabric, stitching process quality problems in production and work on continue process improvement plan o Travel to factories when necessary to provide technical guidance and quality improvement plans review; o Work with supply chain/suppliers to gain support for product development and design for manufacturing, working together to develop/refine the manufacturing process to improve the yield, quality/reliability and reduce cost. · Support development of customer service information as needed including manual, training, training documents, product issue resolution, etc. · Work with PM, Designer and factory to deliver smooth transition from design to manufacturing. · Estimate time and cost to complete projects in early stage to meet the NPD BSC goals. Qualifications: · Is self-starting, self-motivated, lifelong learner and a goal-oriented team member. · Has ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects at one time to meet deadlines. · Possesses both the ability to work independently and work with a team to accomplish tasks. · Willing to challenge existing design, process, and system to make RSC a great place to work and produce better products. · Received 3-year technical degree from an accredited institution or higher degree. · At least five years' experience in process work in a brand apparel company and prefer to work in outdoor brand company; · Must Familiar with the variety and performance of fabrics, proficient in apparel technology and familiar with apparel production; · Prefer able to use AI, CORELDRAW is preferred; · Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. · Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. · Is willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally. Accountabilities: · Complete assigned projects according to project timelines, working under general supervision of Designer and Engineering manager. · Complete regular design reviews for each project with Designer for soundness of technical judgment and overall adequacy. · Complete all project documentation according to New Product Development process. · Complete assigned projects within budget · Provide support to product Designer in designs and any other production relevant issues. · Execute the company’s Intellectual Property Strategy by designing with the goal of patentable designs. Relationships: · Reports to Senior Engineering Manager of Hardgoods Engineering.
