蒂森克虏伯在南京江宁科学园投资1.9亿美圆独资建立一家新工厂-蒂森克虏伯发动机零部件（中国）有限公司。该工厂将安装锻造和机加工生产线，主要生产适用于欧IV以上排放要求的中重型车用柴油发动机的曲轴和连杆。厂于2010年12月奠基.已经于2012年9月投产。

ThyssenKrupp is investing 190 MUSD to build up a new fully owned plant - ThyssenKrupp Engine Components （China） in Nanjing Jiangning Science Park. The company will operate state of art forging an d machining facilities for crankshafts an d connecting rods for Mid-Range an d Heavy-Duty engines meeting the requirements of EURO IV an d above. With the laying of foundation stone in December 2010, Production has started in October 2012.
A lot has been achieved in the past two an d a half years. In an area of 190,000 square meters an ultra-modern production plant has been built with production of 345,000 crankshafts a year for trucks an d construction equipment as well as for ships, emergency generators an d other industrial applications. A particular highlight at the plant is the 12,500 ton press. The project has been fully executed in accordance with our top priority, Safety, an d our Compliance principles. Around 650 people will be employed on site.
