Job description
1. Take part in the supplier selection process through supplieraudits
2. Ensure compliance with Quality Control Plan through periodic supplier audits
3. Responsible for driving supplier failure analysis and corrective actions on quality issues
4. Build-up knowledge about the production process of your responsible commodities and become the company reference regarding these commodities
5. Collaborate closely with engineering to guarantee quality during release of new components
6. Collaborate closely with engineering and production to handle quality rejections and failed parts through root cause analysis, corrective actions and pro-active solutions
7. Measure the performance of the supplier base and track of the results to periodically report to management
8. Follow the quality agreement and warranty agreement with supplier
9. This position requires frequent domestic traveling
Experience requirements
1. Minimum 3 years working experience in SQA or engineering
2. Familiar with quality management systems and mechanical inspection techniques is a plus
Knowledge/Educational requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical Engineering
2. Knowledge quality tools (8D, 5 WHY, …) and of business practices
3. Familiar with ISO 9001, 14001 OHSAS 18001
4. Good knowledge of MS Office
5. Good command of English and Mandarin (both oral and written)
