Main Responsibilities:In order to realize the mission of the D&D organization in Atlas Copco Wuxi, we are looking for a new Team Leader in APE D&D as the successor of current team leader.As a Team Leader, it will be your mission to lead the Large Air team to design an d develop dedicated large portable compressors for targeted markets: such as China, SEA, Middle east an d Russia with superior quality an d low cost. You will also contribute to the cost reduction products from sourcing an d product care request from the field.
Your responsibilities will include:1. Coaching an d leading a team of engineers to develop large compressors with both diesel driven an d electric driven.2. Strong commitment to realize new product development projects on time in full scope: project timing, product quality an d cost, budget control.3. Continuous focus on reliability an d safety of the machines designed under your responsibility.4. Overall coordination of projects: chair the Project Team Meetings, report the status on the PCM an d coordinate with the other departments （production, sourcing, service an d marketing）.5. Design first time right by designing for assembly （cooperation with production）, designing for manufacturing （cooperation with suppliers）, designing for service （cooperation with CRS） an d designing for superior performance （cooperation with marketing）..6. Close interaction with other design centers in the Atlas Copco Group by using the same an d agreed development process an d development tools.
Main Requirements:Experience Requirements: experience in project team working an d product development is an asset.
Knowledge / Educational requirements1. Bachelor Ｏr master degree in Mechanical Engineering, graduated in the field of Thermodynamics, compressors, cryogenics.2. Profound knowledge in machinery design & development an d willing to learn in technical area.3. Mandarin mother tongue an d good English level for both oral an d writing.4. Knowledge of MS Office. Experience with Lotus Notes, CAD tools an d MRP systems is an asset.5. Good product knowledge of diesel engine driven machines. 6. At least 5 years working experience in the engineering environment.
